Challenges are features in this game that award you an increased amount of rewards for doing certain things, currently there are two types of challenges to the game. Those challenges are: Weekly Challenges and Daily Challenges
Weekly challenges happen every 5 days and contain a boss. These bosses gain a specified increase in hp the more players there are. Bosses have 2 variants with one always being harder. You need level 15 or above to access Weekly Challenges. After 5 days the map is reset on the challenge and the rewards may be obtained again.
Ghost Pepper Challenge
The Ghost Pepper challenge is the first Weekly Challenge added in the game. It contains the Inferno Boss that appears on Wave 40 and every 20 Waves after that. The reward for beating this Weekly Challenge is 1,000, 1,250 XP and 750. Scales by 30% for every player.

Carolina Reaper Challenge
The Carolina Reaper Challenge is the Hard variant of the Ghost Pepper Challenge. The reward for beating this Weekly Challenge is 3,000, 3250 XP, 2,000 and the Inferno Theresa skin. Scales by 30% for every player.
- ??? - Every few seconds the boss speeds up Enemies around it.
- Inferno Decoy - Each time the boss reaches a 5th of it's health it spawns an Inferno Decoy and becomes invincible until the Inferno Decoy is defeated. The Decoy however gives money when getting dealt damage (possible bug?).
- ??? - Stuns towers near the entrance for a short time upon entering.
- Guardian Freeze - Removes all of your Guardians when Wave 100 starts and freezes guardian cards, meaning that you cannot place them again.
Daily challenges are a feature that allows a player to redeem a set amount of SC and XP when completed.
These challenges have varying difficulties, and require players to complete a task. For example, “Complete Kraken Island on Easy mode using Hitman, Theresa, Gunner, Beacon, and Sniper.” or "Complete Winter Roads on Hard mode with the Half Cash Mutation."
Challenges can be accessed by clicking the Daily Menu. Once done, challenges do not automatically get claimed, and have to be manually claimed.
After 8 hours, challenges can be reset. You have to press the reset button. If you complete the challenge before the 8 hour countdown, you will have to wait before attempting another challenge. However, if you complete it before the countdown is over, it will automatically reset when the countdown reaches 0.
