Currencies are ways to purchase items in shop. You can earn currencies in different ways, such as playing the game, or completing challenges. A full list is available below.
There are 4 currencies, Gold, XP, StreetCred, and Mastery Points. In the Wikia, they are abbreviated as G$, XP, SC, and MP respectively.
Gold
You can earn gold from playing the game. Easy, Medium, Hard, Apocalypse, Master gives a set amount of gold after each wave. Mutations can change the reward too. On Endless, you get <> Gold per wave. Redeeming valid codes can add Gold to your inventory. You do not need to end the game to collect the gold. This is the only currency that can be purchased by Robux. Gold can purchase most Guardians, Profile Cards and any skin. With the exception of Vivy, Hayaka, Bomber, and all event related items.
XP
XP is another currency similar to gold, that is earnable in all gamemodes. similar to Gold, Easy, Medium, Hard, Apocalypse, Master gives a set amount of XP after each wave. Mutations can change the reward too. On Endless, you get <> XP per wave. You do not need to end the game to collect the XP. You can also get XP from completing challenges. You can find out more about challenges here. XP can be used to buy all towers except Guardians, such as Ruby, Amethyst and Hybrids. You cannot obtain XP via purchases, but redeeming valid codes can also add XP to your inventory. Visit the page for the list of codes here.
StreetCred
StreetCred is currency that is harder to obtain than Gold and XP. It is not purchasable, and can only be obtained by completing challenges or going into Endless mode. Currently, only 5 items can be purchased with StreetCred. These are the tower Bomber, the Guardian Vivy, the Guardian Hayaka, Winter Event Related items, and profile cards.
