Overview
Towers are the primary defense for the Base, being placed on the board using 
Money and attacking enemies in-range. They can be bought in their respective shops using XP , 
Gold, or 
StreetCred. There are currently 32 Towers in-game, with them being split into five different classes: Ruby, Amethyst, Hybrid, Void, and Guardian.
All classes, with the exception of Guardians, share the concept of a Mastery form. This is the quintessential upgrade of any Tower, though only one of each Tower can possess it. Towers have a global placement limit of 100; this limit decreases the more players there are, and in Endless, the placement limit is removed.
Rubies
The Ruby Tribe focuses on high damage output. They are also the only tribe to use fire as their main defense, but this isn't the case for all members.

Fei uses her laser sword to deal slashing damage to groups of zombies coming her way. Only high rank Rubies are able to wield this sword. High profile training is required for people to be granted such a weapon. |

Once she enters the field, everything gets heated. Yami uses a flamethrower to melt enemy with fire balls, burning them with process. Despite being near fire all the time, her skin is still okay, for some reason. |

This fox is more powerful than you think. Aoso gives a blast of fire to any incoming enemies, and uses ruby magic to cripple the incoming horde. |

Manufacturer of pyrotechnical bombs, both effective and amazing. Lora throws special bombs towards enemies, dealing damage to clusters of enemies. She also makes fireworks. All the children love it. |

Gunslinger - Mesa
"Been a while..."
Living at a farm in he rural areas of the Ruby Tribe, Mesa is no stranger to any dangerous wildlife. Mesa uses a Winchester Lever Rifle to fire piercing shots to any danger in her sights. Many would agree that her aiming skills are unmatched, and wouldn't dare to duel her. |

The Amethyst Tribe revolves around supporting their allies, though most members can still deal damage.

A helpful beacon built by the Amethysts. It does not deal any damage, but buffs towers in its radius. It's pretty lights make it a nice sight to see for the Amethysts, same with the Rubies, but they don't want to admit it. |

Accelerator - Akari
"Wow, technology!"
A notorious thief that happened to find an interesting CELRIO project. Accelerators only function when there are at least two on board, creating a plasma beam that evaporates all voids that walk between them. Surprisingly, the CELRIO company allowed her to use it in the end. |

Bloomer - Flora
"Let me heal you."
A well-known hero in the Void Invasion, despite showing less emotion than the others. Flora shoots out piercing thorns towards enemies, and provides buffs towards her friendly allies. She might not express it, but she cares dearly for her friends. |
Hybrids
Gameplay-wise, the Hybrid Tribe is a combination between Rubies and Amethysts in that they can provide both DPS and support.

The Void Tribe is relatively underdeveloped, though it can be assumed that they center around astronomical power for high cost.

Not all Voids are evil. Melly sweeps through groups of voids with her scythe and holds many extraordinary powers. It took a while, but she was accepted into Hybrid society. |
Guardians
Guardians serve as "leaders", with only one being allowed in a deck. They have 15 upgrades and automatically level with in-match EXP earned every wave, though they can still be manually upgraded. The less EXP a Guardian needs to advance to the next level, the lower the price is for the next upgrade. Additionally, the rate at which Guardians automatically level differs between units.
